Deliverance Church Uganda started as Young Christian Ambassador’s Fellowship in 1967, based on 2Corinthians 5:20. In 1971 changed to  spread in various parts of Uganda, one in Kigali and one in Bujumbura and others in Goma-Congo.

Deliverance Church based on Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18 with a vision of preaching the gospel o f power for salvation, healing and deliverance. The first church was located in Kampala, but later spread to Jinja, Mbale and other Towns.  Todate there are about 150 congregations
