Gayaza Junior School is the oldest Anglican church founded Girls’ Boarding Primary School in Uganda.
It was founded by the Church Missionary Society in 1905. This is a great attainment that makes every stakeholder and well-wisher feel that we owe God a great debt of gratitude.
The school is Government Aided, It is located along Gayaza road 14km East of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
Currently the school has an enrollment of 1000 girls in 18 streams from primary one (P.1) to primary seven (P.7) managed by the School Management Committee, School Development and Planning Committee, headmistress, two deputies, thirty (30) teachers and eighty (80) support staff.
All these work under the umbrella of;
- Professionalism
- Integrity
- Creativeness and innovativeness
- Team work
- Unity
- Respect to stakeholders
- Effective communicators and Corporate Governors
We thank God for enabling all the administrators and teachers who have worked hard in this great institution to transform it into what we cherish today.
